The Synthesis of Red Base B by Phosgenation Process

Abstract The traditional process of the synthesis of Red Base B is the Nbenzenesulfonylation,nitration and hydrolysis of O-anisidine. We used the process of N-phosgenation, nitration and hydrolysis of O-anisidine.This process may reduce the total raw material cost over 15 600 per ton of Red Base B.
