Abstract The influence of different preparation conditions on the photocatalytic activity of TiO_2 is studied.The results show that the preparation methods affect the photocatalytic activity of TiO2,the temperature and time of heating are the primary factors which affect the photocatalytic activity of TiO_2.The photocatalytic activity of TiO_2 is better when the anatase phase and the rutile phase coexist in a certain proportion.
