A Study on Effect of Net Structure of Corrugated Wire Gauze Packing on Its Mass Transfer Performance

Abstract The mass transfer Performance of corrugated wire gauze packings with different net structures were studied in a 100mm ID tower with benzene-carbon tetrachloride system. The relationships of HETP and F for different reflux ratios were obtained. The results showed there exists certain effect of net structure of corrugated wire gauze Packings on its mass transfer performance.
