Abstract Particles of the group C in Geldart’s classification were fluidized fairly well by a type of vibro-fluidized bed. The influence of vibrational parameters such as the expansion of bed, the minimum fluidizing velecities on the fluidization behavior were investigated. An empirical correlation for caculating minimum fluidizing velocities is oresented.
