Abstract On the basis of force equilibrium,considering the effect of the local area void fraction and liquidsurface fluctuation in the liquid gas mixture layer on a perforated plate,a theoretic calculation model about the gas velocity at luquid weeping point on the perforated plate is developed.It can be applied to the practical engineering design.
