Abstract
The combustion catalysts for hydrocarbons have been successfully synthesized. Two catalysts, composite Cr catalyst and catalyst 82019 (Mn, Co, Ag), have been selected by comparison in the laboratory with household. The efficiency of removing hydrocarbons by the two catalysts can reach over 99.6%. There are no detrimental materials, such as Nox etc., in the Product gas. At the same time, the optimum condition for using the composite Cr catalyst has been determined and it has been compared with the Pt catalyst.
The properties of the catalysts, for examples the low-oxygen catalysis, the thermal stabilyty, the initial combustion temperature and the catalytic life, etc., haye been investigated. It has been shown that the efficiency of removing hydrocarbon is not obviously decreased after 1000 hours of operation.
