Abstract�� Heat pump drying may save energy and get high quality products,but traditional working fluids for heat pumps which have serious Ozone Depletion Potential and Global Warming Potential have been forbidden to use in developed countries. The purpose of this paper is to select environmentally benign alternatives to traditional heat pump drying equipment with different hot air temperature. A set of working fluids selected from a database has been considered and the most suitable working fluids have been recommended.
