Abstract��
In this paper the new synthetic route of HCFU was based on the Curtius rearrangement reaction,in which HCFU was prepared by two steps. Firstly,the n -hexyl isocyanate was prepared from ethyl heptanoate and hydrzine hydrate by Curtius condensation reaction. And then the title compound was synthesized from 5-FU by using pyridine as solvent,in which the mixture of 0.1mol 5-Fu and 0.1mol n -hexyl isocyanate in pyridine was heated 3h at 95�� to give HCFU.
