Abstract�� A review surveys the application of surfactants in bioseparation.Micellar extraction,reversed-micellar extraction,micellar catalysis,MEKC,MLC,foam fractionation and release of intracellar components by using surfactants are introduced in detail.The prospect of the applications of surfactants and the development of bioseparation are discussed.
