Abstract��
Balsalazide was synthesized from 4-nitrobenzyl chloride via condensation,hydrogenation,diazotization and coupling.The synthetic process was optimized and the total yield was 73.9%.The structure of balsalazide was identified by TLC,IR and ()~(1)HNMR.
