Abstract�� The effects of three different kinds of mono-surfactants(PSE,MGE,OPG) and multiple surfactants(PSE-MGE,PSE-OPG,MGE-OPG) on steroid bioconversion system are studied in this paper. The results show that mono-surfactant PSE and multiple surfactants PSE-MGE have positive effects on bioconversion. A higher conversion rate can reach when using mono-surfactant PSE with the concentration of 0.075%. As for multiple surfactants PSE-MGE, the most appropriate surfactant dosage is different according to diverse methods of combing PSE and MGE.
