Determination and Correlation of Solid-Liquid Equilibrium of 2,6-DIPN and 2,7-DIPN

Abstract:
Solid-liquid equilibrium data and eutectic point of 2, 6-DIPN and 2, 7-DIPN binary systems were measured. Ideal solution model was used to correlate the data. The experimental results showed that binary system of 2,6-DIPN and 2,7-DIPN was a simple eutectic phase diagram, the mixture was a eutectic system with x_1=0.878, x_2=0.122 and eutectic temperature was -19.5 ℃ . The fusion enthalpy of 2,6-DIPN was 4.878 kJ/mol.
