Abstract�� To solve the operational abnormals and sieve tray extraction column clogging problems in methanol recovery system of MTBE plant, the influence of process operations, the nature of raw materials and catalysts are discussed. The formation factor of acidic water in extraction system are discussed and the prevention method are proposed.��
