Abstract:
y orthogonal experiment method, intumescent flame-retarnant system which affects the retardance performance of the coatings was investigated systematically.Several components, such as ammonium polyphosphate (APP),melamine (MEL),pentaerythritol (PE),701 amino resin (701A) and chlorinated paraffin (CP),which affect the physicalchemical properties and fire-proof performance of the coatings markedly have been selected to investigate the effect of each factor and their interactions on fire-proof performance of the coatings.Considering the optimal formulations created, several experiments have been carried out in order to verify the validity of the formulations and the product has been produced in pilot plant and in industry. The result based on the big panel combustion method showed that the coatings meets the National Standard of the fire retardance for first-class products.
