Abstract�� The photocatalytic degradation of phorate in wastewater, which is one of the typical refratory biodegradable and photostable orgaophosphorus pesticides,was studied using TiO 2 partical and loaded TiO 2 on SiO 2 as photocatalysts respectively The results showed that the value of COD was below 200mg/L after the treatment process The effect of pH,anions such as CO 3 2- ,SO 3 2- ,PO 4 2- ,and SO 4 2- on the effciency of the photocatalytic degradation was discussed
