Abstract�� The semi implicit Runge Kutta method is resorted to solve multicomponent batch distillation with constant mole liquid holdup.This new method has such advantages as simplity,high stability and accuracy,automatically changing the step of the integration,etc.The optimal feed of binary batch distillation is studied using the SIRK method.The interrelation between optimal feed and other variables is considered.
