Abstract��
The cyclization of ��\|hydroxyethylenediamine in the presence of catalytic hydrogenation was investigated in the present paper.Several Cu\|Containing catalysts were prepared and examined for this cyclization.Toluene was employed as solvent to increase the reaction selectivity.The other parameters were optimized.Thus,in the presence of Cu/��\|Al\-2O\-3 and Hydrogen(3.0MPa),��\|hydroxyethylenediamine in toluene,180�桫190��,was found to undergo effective cyclization to afford piperazine in 85% yield.
