Abstract�� It is paid much attention to prepare all kinds of terpenoid perfumes through �� -pinene.The quality of cis-pinane synthesized from �� -pinene by catalytic hydrogenation effects its post-products' yields and qualities.This paper introduces many kinds of ways in the world to get pinane through �� -pinene by catalytic hydrogenation,expecting to modify nickel catalysts to prepare low price catalysts for domestic perfume industry with high activity and high selectivity.
