Abstract�� The current development of the isobutene/butene alkylation catalysts has been introduced.The study situation of the alternative solid catalysts,i.e.solid superacid catalysts,zeolites and heteropolyacids,is emphasized.The preparation,selectivity,activity of the SO~(2-)_4/M_xO_y,MCM-41,heteropolyacids are mainly discussed in the paper.Finally,the problem of the solid acids catalysts and the future of the alkylation catalysts are also discussed.
