Abstract�� The operation principle and character of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) were introduced. The recent progress in the key technologies in PEMFC,including composition of proton exchange membrane (PEM), membrane electrode assembly (MEA),preparation of electrocatalyst,and management of water and heat, was reviewed. And the developing status of PEMFC in China was summarized.
