Abstract�� In recent years,the research and solar spectrally selective absorbing coatings for medium & high-temperature applications (hereinafter briefly called ACMHA) in industry have been given more and more attention.This paper summarized their basic types, absorption mechanisms and preparation methods and introduced the research work and new results of many scientific groups at home and abroad.Furthermore,this paper discussed the advantages and disadvantages of preparation methods for ACMHA as well as its development direction.
