Abstract�� In this paper,application and synthesis technology of bromine chloride(BrCl)are introduced.Based on other technologies and theory analysis,low temperature-liquid synthesis technology is counfirmed.The result shows that the optimal temperature is between(-15 ��) and(-17 ��),weight content of Br in BrCl is 69.26%(Theoretical value 69.27%).Dissolved in CCl_4,the maximal absorbance wave of BrCl is 380 nm in UV spectrophotometer,the value is in accordance with referenced value.Pilot plant of 100 t/a also makes anticipative result.Compared with other technologies,this process has many advantage such as simple process,easy operation and controlling.Pilot plant gives the foundation for the future commercialization.
