Abstract��
The refining process of elemene from oil of Rhizoma Curcuma was studied by vacuum batch distillation.The suitable operating conditions of the refined process were obtained.There were two parts during the experiments.In the first part,product of the first part was collected to be raw material of the second part under the temperatures ranging from 53 �� to 63 �� and the reflux ratio between 1��1 and 3��1.In the second part,the product was collected under temperatures ranging from 55 �� to 58 �� and reflux ratio between 3��1 and 7��1.The purity of final product(mass) was more than 88% and the distillation yield was more than 66%.The method was credible,convenient for control and easy to achieve industrialization.
