Abstract��
The physical chemistry properties of catalysts were characterized by ICP,XRD and NH_3-TPD,alkylation of p-cresol with isobutylene over �� zeolite modified by Mn and Ce was carried out and the catalytic activity of the zeolite was investigated.And the influences of reaction temperature,molar ratio of isobutylene/p-cresol and WHSV were analyzed.The result indicated that the catalytic activity of the �� zeolite modified by Mn and the selectivity of 2-tert-butyl-4-methy-phenol are improved,the optimized condition are reaction temperature of 125 ��,molar ratio of isobutylene/p-cresol of 3,WHSV of 2 h~(-1).�� zeolite modified by Mn is a promising catalyst for alkylation of p-cresol with isobutylene.
