Abstract：
The styrene-acrylate microemulsion was synthesized by seeded semi-continuous microemulsion polymerization,with styrene(St),butylacrylate(BA) and acrylic acid(AA) as copolymerization monomers,octylphenol polyethoxylate and sodium dodecyl sulfate as emulsifiers,and potassium persulfate as initiator.The effects of emulsifiers,initiator,AA and certain electrolyte on the stability of polymerization,the particle sizes and distribution were analyzed,the optimized condition of the polymerization was determined.The microemulsion with solid content of 48% was obtained and the particle sizes were ranged 60～70 nm.
