摘要 以六水氯化镁、硼酸、氢氧化钠和氯化钠为原料,采用高温助熔剂工艺制备了硼酸镁(Mg2B2O5)晶须。利用X射线衍射(XRD)、扫描电镜(SEM)、透射电镜(TEM)和X射线光电子能谱(XPS)对制备的产品进行了表征。XRD物相分析结果表明制备的产品为单一相三斜结构硼酸镁(Mg2B2O5)。XPS表明制备的产品中Mg、B和O的摩尔比为1.000∶0.996∶2.498,且价态分别为+2价、+3价和-2价,与Mg2B2O5化学计量比以及价态一致。SEM和TEM显微图像表明合成的产品为纤维状,且长径比大于10,并对生长机理进行了初步探讨。

Abstract: Magnesium borate(Mg_2B_2O_5) whisker was successfully synthesized via high temperature flux method using magnesium chloride,boric acid,sodium hydroxide and sodium chloride as raw materials.The prepared product was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscope(TEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The results showed that the prepared sample had triclinic structure and consisted of whisker-like particles with the proportion of length to diameter beyond 10.XPS results confirmed the molar ratio of each atom agreed with the stoichiometric composition of Mg_2B_2O_5.Finally,the growth mechanism was briefly discussed.
