Abstract�� For the preheating system of crude oil in the atmospheric-vacuum distillation unit of refinery,applying pinch technique and TI method, an initial network with the characteristics of recovering energy to the greatest extent was established. Furthermore, basing on energy lax principle and branch adjustment technique,the optimum structural adjustment of this initial network was parformed.
