Abstract�� The epocidation of alkenes by use of sodium perborate or sodium percarbonate in(CH3CO)2 O/CH2Cl2 is reportaed. Because of the cheapness of perborate,its nontoxic nature and ease of safe handling,there is possibility for this method to be widely applicated.
