Abstract��
A new catalyst loaded with Ni and La(Ce)on ��-Al2O3 was prepared.It was used in the reaction for producing methyl isobutyl ketone in an one-stage reaction which comprises contacting acetone and hydrogen. Many factors which may affect the catalytic behavior such as rare earth metal species,calcination temperature,reaction temperature, space speed and feed gas purity were studied.
