Abstract�� An 100��50mm two-dimensional draft-tube spout-fluidized bed with special structural component was constructed for seeking optimum operating conditions and coating temperature in manufacturing porous ammonium nitrate from ammonium nitrate. Meanwhile, various experimental conditions of coating ammonium nitrate using different proportion of coating liquid were investigated. The final porous ammonium nitrate product obtained in this process exhibts a good quality��high oil adsorption coeffcient, high strength,low water content, free of lumping and high explosive force.
